Guys I'm wanting to separate content structure from navigation structure by providing these options in a separate 'Settings' node in the root of the Content area. Essentially allowing the menu items say in the footer or a sub section of the site to be in a different order or to include items that are not necessarily represented in the content hierarchy.
Multi node picker is almost perfect for this - except I can't use it to produce a menu with a hierarchy / tree structure. Looking around I can't seem to find an existing way for this to be created or implemented with available datatypes or packages. I can only think I would need to effectively build an alternate node structure in the Content area for this but this seems slow and counter intuitive.

Can anyone suggest an option I am missing?
Hi Jamie,
Just had the same issue. Decided to render menu from the structure, but as you said this seems slow and not perfect.
Looks like great idea for new package.
