    Transferred old umbraco code into new website - Error 403 Forbidden

    Hey,

    I have got a new web domain, and have just transferred my old umbraco code from the web server belonging my old web domain to my new website server. Does anybody know, why I get a 403 Forbidden error message "Forbidden - You don't have permission to access / on this server." when i visit the new website?

    Shouldn't it just show my old web design on the new website?

    Sounds like a permission issue. Step 4 of this video shows how to setup permissions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iK8YM3JBgwM

    There may be some other permissions you have to tinker with, but give that a try first.
