I'm pretty new to Umbraco and would like a little advice on how best to structure the site.
What I would like to do is create pages from multiple separate pieces of content. So each piece of content would have it's own doc type (with it's unique properties) and it's own template.
Then to create the page I would create the separate content sections and add them to the page in the order I want.
A diagram may explain things a bit better :)
So for example the first section (top left) would have a doc type with a property with a text area and a property with a media picker for the full screen background image. It would also have it's own template to create the desired layout.
I hope I have explained that clearly enough that someone understands. I've had a look at the Nested Content package but that only seems to be limited to a single doc type per nested content editor.
Any advice on how I can structure this in Umbraco would be appreciated.

Richard,
You have rich content areas so use the grid. See https://vimeo.com/149276966 also on umbraco tv there is video on how to use
