I'm new to the Umbraco community. I just wanted to say thank you to the developers of Umbraco. I've been looking for a long time for such a powerful and flexible CMS. Thank you!
I am glad to hear that you like the Umbraco CMS. We are doing our best to make a great CMS for developers and also for the content editors.
Since new to Umbraco I would recommend you to have a look at the Umbraco TV, if you donĀ“t already know this. With this you should get the basic understand how Umbraco CMS works.
Thanks, I'm already checking out the videos on Umbraco TV! I like that Umbraco is extensible and built on .NET. I'm looking to build some custom forms and report as well as LMS using Umbraco, for the organization I'm working for. Have a lot of learning to do! ;)
Not sure what you have in mind for the "custom forms", but you may want to check this out if you are thinking of building contact forms: http://www.formulate.rocks/

Hi Dom,
Not sure what you have in mind for the "custom forms", but you may want to check this out if you are thinking of building contact forms: http://www.formulate.rocks/
Disclaimer: I built that tool.
Also, I'm aware of at least a couple people who have already built LMS's for Umbraco. Here is one such person: http://24days.in/umbraco/2015/when-public-access-isnt-quite-enough/
Note the comment:
Welcome to the community.
Thank you Nicholas! I will definitely check out your form tool. And thanks for the hint on the LMS.
Awesome Dom. You seem like a really nice guy. Perfect for the Umbraco community! :)
Thanks. :)
