    Adding files to content.

Is there a way for my site to do this:

    http://www.mysite.com/terms/my-sites-terms.pdf

How do I add a media file to the content so the above is possible?

    Hi Greg,

You could use the media picker to pick the pdf file from the media library. Try to see this documentation

    https://our.umbraco.org/documentation/getting-started/backoffice/property-editors/built-in-property-editors/media-picker

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis

I could... but where would I put this media picker?

Which document type can I create that would service the pdf to work like the above url?

    Hi Greg,

You can do this with the package 301 Url Tracker:

    1. Upload the file in media section. Copy the generated url from the properties tab.
    2. Go to Dashboard > 301 Url Tracker > Create.
    3. Old url: Select the url you want the file to have. In this example: /terms/my-sites-terms.pdf.
    4. Redirect url: paste the copied url for the uploaded media item. In this example: /media/1051/pdffile.pdf

Now if i navigate to /terms/my-sites-terms.pdf, i will be promted to download the file: /media/1051/pdffile.pdf.
