    Does anyone freelance with Umbraco?

    Using Umbraco And Getting Started

    Hi,

    I've been a .NET MVC developer for 5 years and I'm considering becoming a freelance developer. I'm starting to learn Umbraco as many clients require a CMS system (no wordpress yay!) and feel I have a head start with my .NET and razor experience.

    I was wondering if anyone here regularly finds work freelancing or contracting with Umbraco? I'm in the UK but I guess this applies anywhere

    I've been freelancing for over 7 years, and I've been focussing on Umbraco for the past year without looking back!

    Hi Jon,

    More specifics would be great! I guess the hardest part is finding some clients and building a reputation?

    I'm working through pluralsight courses and it seems straight forward so far, I'm also looking at umbraco.tv.

    How do you find being freelance in general vs stuck in an office?
