    Unpublishing all sub pages

    Why are all subpages not unpublished, when I unpublish the parent page? Is et a bug or a feature?

    So if I will unpublish all subpages, then I have to do it manualy for each page?

    When you unpublish a parent node try one link of the child pages. You will see that this is also unreachable.

    So even when a page is published, when a parent node is unpublished all child nodes are also unavailable.

    All child nodes(published) are unreachable when parent node is unpublished. My question is, will all those child nodes will take space under Examine Index/XML Content under App_Data folder?

    I do not want any processing and App_Data space of nodes a. if parent node is unpublished or b. in the recycle bin.

    [using Umbraco version 7.4.3]
