    Find media file in GUI using the ID

    Hi,

    Is there anyway of finding the location of a file in the GUI under the media tab from the ID?

    I can easily see the ID in the source on the website but can't find it in the 100s of images in the GUI. I have tried the search using the ID but that doesn't work. Any ideas please?

    Hi Chris,

    You could try adding the ID to the URL of the media edit page?

    /umbraco/#/media/media/edit/{+ ID of media item}

    The link to media doesn't seem to be the same as the ID

    i.e. in my example the display URL is /media/1046/2.jpg but the ID is 1399 and therefore the media editor URL is /umbraco#/media/media/edit/1399

    Any other ideas? Thanks.
