I have a question about installing packages into Umbraco in different environments.
Normally you first test the package by installing it locally. If you see no pointers of failures or problems then what?
Install the package directly from your live environment?
Push the package files with the next update / release from the local environment?
Or is there another way? And what if you push the files in the next release will Umbraco update the contents of the installedpackages config file or do we need to push this also with the release?
Usually we do push the package files with the next update / release from the local environment. But it's not always works, sometimes you have to install package on both environments.

Hi Michaël,
Usually we do push the package files with the next update / release from the local environment. But it's not always works, sometimes you have to install package on both environments.
Thanks,
Alex
Alex,
Ok thanks for sharing.
I will try this by pushing it from the local to the live environment.
