Good morning everybody,
I have for a while used the ImageCropper Property Editor, as a general file uploader (eg for pdfs), rather than any of the others like File Upload because it enables you to just drag and drop files to upload them, rather than the old fashioned dialog box approach. This worked fine until some new version earlier this year, maybe 7.2 or 7.3 when, although it still worked, once uploaded, the File field for my Image Cropper would just be blank and there was no way of removing the uploaded file or anything as there was before. So it is no longer a perfect solution as you need to go and hack the db if you want to remove the item.
So my question is .. does anyone else use this approach for file uploading? is there another way that would also offer drag and drop? is there any way i can hack/fix the Image Cropper so it works with non-image types as it used to?
Thanks a lot in advance for any help or suggestions,
Tom
