    Upgrade from 7.1.4 to 7.4.3

    I'm getting this error when trying to run the upgrade: I get the "Upgrading Umbraco" screen, but when I hit the green 'Continue' button I get "Error during installation". This is in the log…

    _shutDownMessage=HostingEnvironment initiated shutdown
HostingEnvironment caused shutdown

_shutDownStack=   at System.Environment.GetStackTrace(Exception e, Boolean needFileInfo)
   at System.Environment.get_StackTrace()
   at System.Web.Hosting.HostingEnvironment.InitiateShutdownInternal()
   at System.Web.Hosting.PipelineRuntime.StopProcessing()

    Can anyone help? The Umbraco upgrade process is a real chore :(

    Got this one solved (copied/merged .config files again… even more carefully!).

    Now site works, except for a few annoying anomalies such as "Error loading MacroEngine script", "Error: Error:" (no subject/detail) popping up when I visit backoffice page, etc.

    :(
