I've upgraded a site from 7.1.4 to 7.4.3, and Examine simply is not working. It should be indexing c. 1,000 docs, but it says it's indexed 146… none of which are being returned by a search. I've tried loads of support pages and implemented everything I can find that could possible be the cause, cleared the TEMP folder, restarted IIS, etc, but rebuilding the index always results in 146 docs, and a search always returns 0 results.
Don't even know what ‘gatheringnode’ means, so I guess not!
All I can see in the log is…

I take it this for the external index? Do you have any gatheringnode going on? Also can you check you umbraco logs see if there is anything there.
