I am having an issue with my umbraco site. It is one install with with 14 websites underneath it. I am not the most technical in Umbraco but I have managed to do most things however it does not seem to be publishing any new data today. It shows in the preview screen and a green bar comes up indicating you can now view this on the live site but nothing is appearing.
If it is saving, but not showing up on the site, the next thing I would check is /AppData/Umbraco.config. This is where the frontend pulls the data from. If you find your content in this file and it doesn't reflect the changes that you made in the admin, then that is the culprit. If this does turn out to be the issue, I would check the permissions on the file to ensure that IIS has the proper permissions to overwrite it. Since it apparently had the permissions previously, the next thing I would check is /AppData/Logs/ and look at the log file to see if there were any errors when trying to update the cache. Let me know what you find.
