We've been running Umbraco a few years and currently have an installation of version 7.43 with about 200 or so doctypes, a few hundred views which is running about 50 websites.
Over time we have faced an increasing compilation time after codechange, and now it takes the installation about 10-20 minutes to recompile before it starts responding.
After app-pool restart it takes about a minute of compile time, which has been fairly consistent over time.
Is this a normal compilation time and do anyone with a similar size installation have any similar experiences?
It seems very high to me, and is there some kind of documentation on what checks are run during the compilation after codechange if we have some sort of check that is taking a lot of time?
Is there any way to log what's going on during compilation and how do i set that up?
