I've been trying to install ucomponents on a Umbraco 7.5.4 and it shows as instaklled okay via package manager, but i see no datatypes in my drop down
I saw a workaround tried it but had no luck...
Any ideas would be appreciated
Hi Ravi,
What are you wanting to do with uComponents?
uComponents was developed against Umbraco 4.5 to 6. None of the data-types would work with v7, sorry.
Cheers, - Lee
just realised i should be using nupickers.. brain freeze so used to doing ucomponents as part of install and set up process, it wasn't untill someone else mentioned it , tht it clicked i was doing the wrong thing..
slaps forehead
No worries Ravi.
For a moment then I thought this was an elaborate trolling exercise, LOL! ;-)
We'll laugh about this over beers tomorrow night.
