Custom sort order on default list view keeps vanishing?
Hi,
Our editor community have asked us to order articles within our folders by a custom field - a date field that represents when they publish the story.
Twice now I've added the custom column to the default list view, given it a column heading, set it to sort descending, saved the view and saved the document type. For at least a couple of days the folders of that type remain sorted correctly.
Then Umbraco seems to forget any of that has ever happened. It doesn't display the custom column in the list view and obviously doesn't sort by it.
I can't see any errors. It's as if someone has come in and undone it all quite meticulously, which I know they haven't.
Can anyone verify this behaviour? Is it a known issue? I've seen other posts asking whether it was possible, but this is functionality that is in the back-end that elegantly appears to undo itself. A bug?

And it's happened again. We're on Azure if that helps...
