Examine indexing docx and pdf content

Sorry if this has been ask before.

Can Examine out the box index content in docx and pdf files or is there some development needed to enable this.

Thanks for that.

Examin.pdf looks relatively straight forward but looks like a developer job for the cod package from Ismail. think its the hooking up a java library that is scaring me.

Hopefully the Umbraco team will being updating Examine in future releases.
