    Random downtime on site hosted in Azure - Access to path App_data/Models/models.err is denied

    Hey all,

    Our small marketing based site randomly has outages on azure, usually around 1 a week. Not a heavily used site at all and on a healthy enough Azure App Service place.

    The following image is error sent via site 247. Has anyone seen this before?

    Access to path App_data/Models/models.err is denied

    I know I reply to an old post. But this may be useful for anyone.

    This is a permission related problem. Set Read/Write access to your IIS application pool user to the App_Data directory and your error will disapear.
