Hi,
if you just deployed Umbraco CMS with Microsoft Web Platform Installer, and never used WebMatrix before, you can move it to another location.
Depending on your windows, the files ended up in
C:\Users\User\Documents
where you may not want to have it.
You can move it from there to somewhere else.
When you are in Umbraco CMS1 - Microsoft WebMatrix
goto Menu Files->Options->Site
Enter in Default Site location the parent directory of "Umbraco CMS"
In case the CMS is running - stop it
Then close WebMatrix
With Windows Explorer move or copy the directory from the Users Directory into the desired target directory.
Launch WebMatrix
Click on Open
Select the "Umbraco CMS" paste directory.
If you did it correctly, it launches from the new location.

Hi Matjung
Try to use Visual Studio and install Umbraco via nuget - this is perfect way to install umbraco on local machine.

Hope it will help.
