Application is already configured upgrading 4.7.2 -> 4.11

Hi all just wondering if anyone has seen this. I'm certain my db connection string is correct as it is using integrated auth and worked up until I copied the upgrade files in place..
Don't know, but I think when it refers to the application is might be talking about a section (e.g. Content, Media, Settings, Developer).
If I'm wrong then check that you have dbowner permissions. Your user might have reader and writer permissions which will work fine, but you'l need dbowner to create new tables.

I skipped around it by making the file changes necessary and then went straight to umbraco 6.. now just trying to get auth working (we're using AD)
is working on a reply...
