Umbraco site eployed in IIS shows CMS welcome page, not website homepage
Hello,
We've just been handed over our website developed by an external agency. They sent us the code files and database backup in two separate zip files. We have restored the database in a SQL Server 2012 express database and can see all the tables and data.
The code backup had the unbraco files in them and we were told it is not necessary to install umbraco. So we've created a website in IIS 7 and deployed all the code files in a virtual directory. After changing the database connection string, when we visit this locally deployed website, it displays the CMS homepage (Welcome to your friendly CMS one) and not the homepage of the website.
How do I get to the homepage of the website?
Please help.

Hello Meenakshi,
Can you please be more specific on this what you get in code files. I mean the whole code files or published solution.
Ronak Panchal.
Hi Ronak,
Thanks for responding. It turned out to be a database connectivity issue. It is not resolved and working.
Thanks again.
