    iis could not find part of the path

    Hi there,

    I am stuck with this problem:

    I published my website as usual and the site runs perfectly when called under its normal url. When trying to open the site under its local "Default Web Site" application 

    http://localhost/nameofmysite

    the following error occurs :

    Part of the path "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\umbraco\config\lang" could not be found.

    I have searched the entire directory in order to find this absolute path. But there is no such path. Obviously this is the wrong path as there is no umbraco directory in the inetpub directory.

    Any ideas where I could solve this error?

    Hi Edgar,

    This line confuses me :

    Obviously this is the wrong path as there is no umbraco directory in the inetpub directory.

    Do you mean you have no Umbraco directory in your website folder or do you mean there is no umbraco folder in c:\inetpub\wwwroot

    Looking at the stack trace the error seems related to NewsLetterStudio ?

    Maybe you can ask in the forum of that package ?

    Hi Dave,

    thanks for your reply. This is the correct path to my lang directory on the server:

    E:\C4Apps\Customers\sporthilfe2\Umbraco\Config\Lang

    For some reason umbraco is looking for it in the default directory of the IIS:

    C:\inetpub\wwwroot\

    Thanks for your hint regarding the NewsletterStudio. I will post it in their forum as well.
