I have some questions regarding Umbraco and the way caching works on the back-end.
When I visit a page on my website, I can place a symbol at the end and then type text and it will temporarily create that page (not editable in Umbraco) and sends information to Google Analytics. Is there a way to stop this?
We've had old media files uploaded on the website, PDF's and such. These were all hosted on www.website.co.uk/media/####/filename.pdf
After these have been deleted, the page still exists. Right now, we're currently disallowing this as Webmaster tools is flagging roughly 70 PDF's cannot be found.
TL:DR - Is there a way to stop the website from caching extra stuff that doesn't exist anymore?
