I'm not getting a password authentication error in the typical sense. Rather than a 400 (bad password), I'm getting a 500 with the following:

I've been google searching terms like "umbraco user password but did not return membershipuser with username supplied" to no avail.

I've even tried resetting the password & various other hacks, but the issue isn't with the user/pass combination, so much as how the associated (& authenticated, in my case) user can't seem to be found..
