Hi, I am new to Umbraco and want to use it for a booking service website and need a reality check from somebody with experience before i go down the wrong path.

I plan is to create document types in the back office and allow members to generate and edit documents based on the type in the front end. Two members should be able to co-edit the documents.

Umbraco appears to be very Back Office centric and I fear not so suitable for member document editing.

1. Can Umbraco give this functionality to members out of the box or will it require a lot of scripting?
2. Is it safe?

I have read the documentation, watched the videos and contacted HQ who sent me to you :-)
