I understand that this is because the old version uploads as file upload and this version uploads as image cropper by default. I am happy to convert all image to image cropper to get around the issue.
However when I add a new image it defaults to using the image upload. Is there a switch that changes between image upload and cropper?

I am trying to upgrade Umbraco from 7.3 to 7.57 and I am having the issue explained here with existing media items
