How can administrators view "saved" changes from page to page

Does Umbraco provide a way for administrators to view the site as it is when pages are simply saved, while the rest of the world (non-administrators) view site pages in their last published state?

We would like writers and editors to see their modified pages when they browse from page to page instead of to taking the extra steps in tracking the down pages in back office and clicking the preview button for every single page.

SharePoint 2013 does something like this, where you can check in a page and all administrators (sharepoint owners), who log in can browse the site and see all the latest changes on every single page, while the rest of the world see's the previously published state of that page.

Is something like this possible for administrators in Umbraco?

    Hi kensley,

If I understand it you mean something look source control where you can see which changes are applied to a content node yes?

What you can do in right click on a node and go to the rollback item.

There you can select a previous version and view its changes.

But maybe there is a package which makes this easier to manage so that you won't need to go to the rollback section.

Also a very nice package is the The Dashboard: https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/the-dashboard/

Which makes it possible to see which nodes are recently changed in the content section.

The dashboard is amazing! Just want my team needs! Thanks for that. That is a great alternative to what I was envisioning, especially for very large sites.

No problem, glad that I could help!

For any other projects please have a look at:

There are a lot of useful packages!

Have a nice and sunny day!
