    preview button not working

    Using Umbraco And Getting Started
    Umbraco 7

    Hi, In Umbraco cms preview button is not working, Its showing "something went wrong" on click of preview button can some one help me with this issue.

    Do you have more information in the logs? Look at /app_Data/Logs and add the logs here if you don't understand what is going on.

    What you can do too:

    1. clear your cookies and log in again
    2. clear the /App_data/Preview folder
    3. check if all mandatory properties are supplied

    clearing cookies and app data/preview things does not work.

    A few options:

    • The startnode does not exists (anymore - have you deleted it),
    • the startnode is not in cache (what is the "published url" under the properties tab?)
    • verify health check under developer)

    Could you check those things?

    Maybe try choosing another startNode and check if this does work? Just too rule out that there is something wrong with the selected node?

    Good suggestions from Damian but hard to determine without more info. If you reach out to the support team in the Umbraco Cloud portal (the chat icon in the lower right corner) then we can have a look. Once solved we can post solution here so everyone can benefit from it :)
