    Website gets stuck at installing Umbraco after using Export SQL Server Compact

    Export SQL Server Compact package was used to migrate database from SQL CE to SQL Server. After switching to SQL Server by modifying the connection string, the website starts installing Umbraco when it is browsed, and it gets stuck there.

    I do not know why it needs to install Umbraco. Could anyone offer a tip on how to remedy this?

    Hi Hong,

    It seems that maybe not all data is correctly transfered to new database.

    Can you check the umbracoMigration table to see if it has any values on the new database ?

    Thank you for the response. It worked eventually, but I have forgotten how it was made to work. I was dealing with all kinds of issues. If I recall it, I will post it here.
