    Error: "Failed to retrieve content type" when opening Landing Page

    Using Umbraco And Getting Started
    Umbraco 7

    Hi there, I am using Umbraco v7.6.1 , which was working fine until suddenly receiving the following error when trying to open the Document Types > Landing Page

    "Server error: Contact administrator, see log for full details. Failed to retrieve content type"

    All the other document types are working correctly, and we didn't get any helpful information from the logs. Any ideas about how to fix this would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Kitty

    Ended up reinstalling theme and restarting all the pages unfortunately.

    having the same error after installing v4.0 of the SEO Metadata (https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/seo-metadata-for-umbraco/).

    I'm on Umbraco 7.6.2

    The package never completely installed and also won't completely uninstall and unfortunately has left my documenttype in a flux state.

    Anyone know how to fix this or how to completely remove (file system and db?) the SEO Metadata package?
