When reviewing Umbraco Project compatibility charts, on the right (image attached), if there is any Umbraco version that has a percentage less than 100% percent, what does that mean in regards to usage and stability?
Does that mean only 75% people out of controlled group gave feedback that Courier works and the Umbraco team is waiting on the additional 25% to respond? or 25% percent of folks reported that it doesn't work for 7.5x?
Does it mean that the currently developers of Courier are in process of getting it fully compatible with Umbraco 7.5x but are only 75% done with the process?
Does it mean we should not download that package and use it in a production site unless it is only %100?
My situation
I’m on Windows 10. I have IIS10 installed and running. I have Umbraco 5.14 setup locally in 2 instances as IIS sites:
umbraco.courier01.local
umbraco.courier02.local
I installed Courier 3.1.1 on both vanilla installations during the same time.
While working on umbraco.courier01.local, when Courier prompts me to “Add a location” or do it later, I put in umbraco.courier02.local into the input field and click “create location."
While working on umbraco.courier02.local, when Courier prompts me to “Add a location” or do it later, I put in umbraco.courier01.local into the input field and click create location.
Back on umbraco.courier01.local
I then head over to the content section of Umbraco so that I can modify a content node. I go to Home -> Learn -> The Starter Kit and add additional text to the wysiwyg. I then click save and publish. I then click the Actions button to open Courier, but the Courier link is not there....
The absence of the Courier link under the Actions menu led me to asking all this on this post.
The compatibility charts are community reports, so for example 50% just means 1 person says it works and another says it doesn't.
however in terms of something like courier which is a umbraco i would consider it to be as 100% compatible with the version based on the number as they are released at the same time. so for 7.5.14 that should be the v3.1.1 and it should work .

Thanks for any feedback
Hi

That helps me understand the percentages now. I was wondering what that meant. Now I know.
I'll now try to figure out why my current situation does not work (no courier link under Actions menu).
Thanks again
