    Prevent Image Hotlinking

    Hey guys,

    I'm trying to prevent url hotlinking to images in the media folder and potentially other media files as well. But the image should still load on the web page.

    To do this I've followed this tutorial to make changes to IIS/web.config https://help.maximumasp.com/KB/a738/using-url-rewrite-to-prevent-image-hotlinking.aspx

    But I've had no success, the image url is not rewriting to an alternative image.

    Has anyone tried this or has found a solution to this?
