    Create New User from the Umbraco control panel

    Hi folks, I’m new to Umbraco. I have installed Umbraco 7.6.3 with Nuget. Everything seems ok until I try to create a new user.

    When I create a new user I am asked for a Login Name and Email address. I then click the Create button.

    The user is then created, but when I click the Change Your Password link I am required to enter the Current password, but I never created a password for the User!!!

    Do we have a default password when we create a new user?

    Hi Tom

    Welcome to our forum!

    You have to reset password first - mark checkbox checked and save user - you will have reset the password.

    This reset password, you will be able to use as a current password when you are changing the password.
