    Umbraco with Angular 2

    Hi , I am new to umbraco , in my current organisation we have umbraco websites with MVC. I want know is it possibility where Umbraco can be implemented using Web API with out using the MVC.

    Vinay,

    Not 100% sure what you are asking? Are you saying you have existing web api end points that return data from umbraco? Additionally you want to consume those end points from an angular 2 front end?

    Hi Ismail , Thanks responding my query .

    Below are few question i have .

    Is it mandatory to have asp.net MVC to handle the event from the umbraco.

    Can we implement umbraco with Angular 2 and Web API and consume the web API endpoints in Angular 2.

    Vinay,

    On the front end you can use angular 2 to hit webapi end point. The umbraco backoffice uses older version of angular and you cannot change that as that is part of umbraco core.
