    install Umbraco extension on Web hosting server using panel

    I've successfully created CMS in Umbraco 7.6.3 and hosted it on web hosting server. Web hosting (asphostportal) panel has Web app gallery which had Umbraco 7.6 So i needed to request to install 7.6.3 version.

    Now after they installed it, im again stucked as there is no way of installing uComponents to Umbraco. i installed uComponenets on my local server using webMatrix but on Web hosting panel it is totally different story.

    Has any one experience the same problem while making Umbraco App live on web hosting server?

    if YES then please help me out with the steps.

    Hi. If your site is up and running the you should be able to install packages from the package repository via the Umbraco interface in the back-office (in the Developer menu).

    Though I'm not sure why you would want to install uComponents as that was designed for Umbraco 6 and earlier and isn't compatible with Umbraco 7. There is a similiar package for v7 called nuPickers that does most of the same things, though - https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/nupickers/

    Hi Endrewsy

    Did you try to install uComponents via Umbraco backend?

    Umbraco 7.6 isn't compatible with uComponents
