I have inherited an Umbraco site from a previous developer who has left no documentation and hadn't even had the site in source control!
I am trying to make some critical changes to a local version prior to deploying them to our live server. However I am having some issues trying to compile the site.
The site is built in 6.2 and is using something called Vega site builder which doesn't appear to have the best reputation based on what I have managed to learn.
Below are examples of the errors that I am receiving when I try to compile the site.
CS0246 The type or namespace name 'DocumentTypes' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) EXAMPLE C:\inetpub\wwwroot\EXAMPLE.co.uk\Masterpages\Base.master.cs 7 Active
CS0103 The name 'CurrentContent' does not exist in the current context EXAMPLE C:\inetpub\wwwroot\EXAMPLE.co.uk\Masterpages\JobLanding.master 9 Active
What am I missing? I'm really confused by the whole thing.
