I'am working on upgrading a Umbraco environment from 7.4.3 to 7.6. I found great resources in general on upgrading Umbraco and forms (1, 2 and 3). But information for upgrading courier is more sparse. The Installation is running courier version is 2.52.14, I want to upgrade to courier 3.1.3.

https://our.umbraco.org/projects/umbraco-pro/umbraco-courier/ states : To Upgrade download the hotfix file corresponding to your Umbraco version (Courier.v*.hotfix.zip) and make sure to unblock, then XCOPY all files to the corresponding location in your Umbraco instance - overwriting the older files.

1) The Courier.v*.hotfix.zip corresponds to courier version not the Umbraco version.

2) When looking at hotfix Courier.v2.52.15.HotFix it dates from 19/10/2016. So applying this fix wont upgrade me to 3.1.3.

So the question is, do I need to apply ourier.v3.1.2.HotFix on the current courier installation to upgrade. Are there some common pitfalls that I need to be aware off when upgrading courier?
