Find out where media item is being used?

I know this was brought up a while ago but is there any way to find out where a media item is being used in content or a media picker etc?

    Hi Tom

Try to use Nexu package made by Dave Woestenborghs, it shows what media is used or not.

    https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/nexu/

    Thanks,

    Alex

Thanks Alex, For now I've been querying the database and finding instances of use within the current version of a given node i.e. a grid control or picker or the like.. not perfect but it gets us what we need to do.. I'll have a look at the package :)

Alas Nexu just errors out in admin with an angular error with the object being null or undefined

Unfortunately I have never managed to get Nexu to work - looks great, but never managed to get it to install - worse still it renders the site unusable - both the front end AND the Umbraco backoffice!
