    Examine - Can we search for text on a PDF or Word Document?

    With Umbraco 7.7.2, and ExamineFileIndexer installed. I apologize if this has been brought up before. But is it possible to search by the text displayed on a PDF or Word Document? Not just by the files title?

    I understand that many PDFs are images and the text can not be captured. My question is in regards to a qualified PDF that is able to have its text read by Examine. If possible, how do we configure Examine to query results for that?

    Hi Blackhawk,

    ExamineFileIndexer can parse PDF files, try to look at documentation.
