    Short urls - umbracoUrlAlias

    Hi,

    I have been trying to create short urls by using the umbracoUrlAlias, but to no success.

    What I have done is as follows:

    1. Created a property of type "Textstring" with alias "umbracoUrlAlias" on the page i want to change the urls on

    2. I then type in what I want as a short-url in the new field, on the page in question

    This does not work. I have tried everything from every thread hear on our.umbraco, and also from several blogs around the internet. Nothing works.

    When I go to the url I just get a textdocument, see picture below.

    I am using Umbraco 4. I really appreciate any kind of help since I have a customer waiting for a solution :)

    Have you tried the url alias with a simple word like "signup" instead of "test/test"?

    Im not sure the subfolder thing works with umbracoUrlAlias. I'm pretty sure it has to be a single word like http://www.mysite.com/signup
