    Compare page versions

    Hi all,

    Is it possible to see history of changes or compare page versions?

    Hi Anna,

    Umbraco contains a rollback function and an audit trail function. However, both are limited in their behaviour. The Rollback function, in theory shows you differences but the UI for it isn't great and I often find that changes I know have been made aren't highlighted.

    The Audit trail is simply a list of actions that have been performed tagged against the user and the date. It can be useful for seeing when a page was re-published, un-published, moved etc.

    There are also packages for managing versions of Umbraco nodes, F.A.L.M. Housekeeping - https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/falm-housekeeping/ and unVersion - https://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/unversion/

    unVersion mostly for cleaning up node versions

    F.A.L.M. Housekeeping has UI for managing versions
