    Umbraco 6 - Admin 404

    Hi guys,

    I have an issue with an old Umbraco 6 website that won't let me get in to the admin area. If I attempt go to /umbraco - I get redirected to the login page /umbraco/login.aspx?redir=%2fumbraco%2f. From there if I use an invalid login, I redirected back to the same login page. However, if I use a valid login, I'm redirected to /umbraco but get a 404 message.

    There's nothing in the logs indicating any errors but everytime, I just get the 404.

    Has anyone run into similar issues? Any suggested issues that might cause this or suggested fixes?

    Hi Ben

    Maybe there some redirect in urlRewriting module?

    Thanks for the suggestion Alex, no such thing though I'm afraid. Really bizarre issue, still having trouble tracking it down unfortunately.
