Hi Everyone,
Is there any safety to upgrade version 7.5.X to 7.8.1 in Admin back office portal or using Nuget in VisualStudio?
Thanks
Hi Son,
If you have a VS solution it's usually best to backup, upgrade via nuget and then deploy that that way after testing.
Be aware that when you deploy it will then run the upgrader on live - you'll need to log in as an Umbraco user so don't do an unattended upgrade!
Follow the version specific notes and the general notes for more details: https://our.umbraco.org/documentation/getting-started/setup/upgrading/general

Thanks Steve. Do I need to do something with the database or it will be updated automatically when I deploy new packages to server and restart the website.?
When you hit the website after updating it will run the upgrade installer. This will upgrade the DB for you.
Remember to take backups and have tested it locally!
