I'm trying to update Umbraco 7.1.6 to 7.9.2 according to update guides. After update on first run I'm being prompted for username/password to authorize update process. But username and password does not work without giving any errors (PostLogin returns 200 OK).
I see similar posts, but nothing worked for me:
- checked that useLegacyEncoding is set to 'true' in Web.config
- cleared browser cookies/cache
PS I'm able to reproduce it on clean install of 7.1.6.
In logs it complain only about missing tables (which I think is expected, because upgrade cannot be authorized): https://pastebin.com/nfCwakXv
I've actually posted here not too long ago about running into what seams to be the same issue when upgrading from 7.4 to 7.9. The recommendation given to me was to upgrade from 7.4 -> 7.6 -> 7.9 to see if that works. I have not found the time to do so yet but will post here when I can test to see if that would work.
Cannot login after Update

I created GitHub repository where I try to reproduce issue on clean install of 7.1.6: https://github.com/zirrocu/umbraco-upgrade-7.1.6-7.9.2
I assume something with authorization cookie, but I might be wrong.
Any help is appreciated.
