Published website to test server, now the installer keeps running.
Hi, i just published my website i have been developing on local machine.
And when i copied the files to the server, and enter the address,
it just starts the umbraco installer.
It does it both frontend and backend.
it is stuck, it seems unable to find the installer.
in my console it says the following:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)
/install/api/GetSetup

Hi André Lange
Can you check that folders and files permissions are right on the server, they should be like described here - https://our.umbraco.org/documentation/getting-started/setup/install/permissions
Check, please, database connection also.
Thanks,
Alex
I have no real control of the server, i am hosting on Unoeuro.dk
Hi Andre
As I know, in Unoeuro you have control on folders permissions via admin part of hosting or no?
As far as i can see i have no folder permission control. I can create folders, but not set any permissions on them as such.
I have sent a support ticket to them, and i hope they might at least comfirm if i have the right permissions.
They are saying the folder permissions should be correct. What else could be the problem ?
Well seems the solution was the tool they used to import my .bac database file. It told me it had loaded successfully, but the database was empty.
So importing it again, solved the issue.
