Would anyone know what needs to be done to get role-based protection working on a virtual node? (custom routed page).

In the backoffice, I have enabled role-based protection on the node that I'm using with the virtual node, however, I can still access that page and not being redirected to the login page.

Do I simply need to add some code directly to the razor file, and if so, any examples on that code that would help?
