We use active directory/Okta to log users into the backoffice of our Umbraco 7.9.2 installation, but I hadn't added any users since before version 7.7, where the new "user invite" is the initial step.
Following my usual (past) procedure, I'd created the user, and assigned a temporary password (which might have been the problem), but then when that user got the Umbraco invite, neither the temporary password nor their Active Directory password would work.
So we're confused now; I can't delete the user, can only disable; setting their password intentionally to match their Active Directory password also doesn't seem to work.
Is there way to rectify this? And in the future, is the correct practice for Active Directory users: only create an Invite, and do nothing else (except maybe add them to a group)?
