    Error upgrading from 4.11.10 to 6.0.0

    I've been working on trying to upgrade an old 4.7.1 umbraco site to the latest version following the upgrade path posted here.

    I'm now getting an error trying to go from 4.11.10 to 6.0. The installer is giving me a null reference when it gets to the database step. Here is a screen shot of the error:

    It is happening in the Page_Load of umbraco.presentation.install.steps.detect. I've made sure the connection string is set in the web.config. The DLLs all match. Any idea what could be causing this?

    Sorry to hear that you have trouble with upgrading from 4.x.x to 6.0.0
