    ExamineIndex error deleting contents

    Using Umbraco And Getting Started

    Hello everybody.... Another question about the ExamineIndex :) Searching on forum, I didn't find the same error for this version of Umbraco (we are currently running version 7.10.4) Our project is deployed on a Azure multiple server (not as service but as complete infrastructure with 2 webservers in load balancing), the error is not present in our local environment for development.

    When trying to delete a content, usually we receive the following error:

    Is the examine config setup for azure as per the documentation? See https://our.umbraco.com/Documentation/Getting-Started/Setup/Server-Setup/azure-web-apps

    no, as in that page is written that for a load balancing environment that's not valid

    These best practices are for a single environment/non-scaled azure website. If you require the scaling ("scale out") ability of Azure Web Apps then you need to consult the Load Balancing documentation since there is a lot more that needs to be configured to support scaling/auto-scaling.

    Hi, Claudio, From time to time we have the same problem. We run Umbraco 7.7.9 on a single environment (not load balancing) and we followed the recommendations described here: https://our.umbraco.com/Documentation/Getting-Started/Setup/Server-Setup/azure-web-apps We also have a large index: Documents in index: 3792

    When we try to unpublish or delete an item we get the error above.

    Did you manage to resolve the issue?

    Hi, Claudio, I sorted out my problem - see this https://github.com/Shazwazza/Examine/issues/80 However our environment is auto-scaling, but not Load balanced.
