    Arranging PDFs in a Catalog

We have a catalog of PDFs that are sorted alphabetically. We would like to have control over the order of the catalogs and NOT have them sort alphabetically.

Is there a way to do this as an Editor in Umbraco?

    Thanks!

How are the PDFs being stored, as Media items in a folder?

How do you want them to be sorted? Manually, or by some other property?

You can right-click on a Media folder and select Sort to manually sort items, but the way they are being output has to be coded to respect this sort order as well.

The PDFs are stored in a "Catalog" which is separate from the Media section. It looks like I'm able to add, delete or make changes to individual Catalog items, but not sort them. I'm new to managing the site so I'm not sure why these were set up this way. Any insight? Thanks!

Of course, you can sort files in media. Just open media section, open context menu on the folder that contains files and click on sort

Please see above. These PDFs aren't housed in the Media section, they are in a separate Catalog section. Thanks!
